Player Registration
WELCOME TO BGSA'S SPRING REGISTRATION.
PRIOR TO REGISTERING PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.
REGISTRATION
Registration Fees are as follows:
Pixie Division - $190
8U, 10U, 12U and 14U - $225
REFUNDS
BGSA will refund registration fees upon request according to the schedule shown below:
· Refund requests submitted prior to January 4, 2012 receive a full refund.
· Refund requests submitted between January 4 and January 15, 2012 will receive a 50% refund.
· No refunds will be given after January 15, 2012.
BGSA is a 100% volunteer organization. Our league cannot function properly without volunteer support. You will be asked to volunteer time to help out your team and the league in one or more roles this season such as: concessions, team parent, coaching, picture day, field preparation, etc. If you are unable to volunteer during the season there is a Volunteer Buy-Out option on the registration page.
For the spring season, BGSA is unable to honor requests for coaches, friends, carpools etc. You may enter special requests such as practice days or possible teammates on your registration form. However, no promises can be made. For the spring season, BGSA uses an Open Draft process for all divisions except for the Pixie division.
In the Pixie division, BGSA does attempt to honor friend and/or coach requests. However, we are unable to guarantee that we can honor every request.
DIVISIONS AND TIME COMMITMENT
BGSA division birth dates are set up according to ASA rules and are based on the calendar year: January 1st to December 31st.

Teams practice once a week for 90 minutes. Games are played as listed below.
Pixie Division – One 55-minute game per week.
8U Division – Two 55-minute games per week.
10U, 12U and 14U – Two 70-minute games per week.
12 regular season games will be played.
All divisions will play in the end-of-the-season tournament.

The league provides all players with a jersey, shorts and a visor. Socks can be purchased by the team.

Every BGSA player will need the following equipment:
Mouth Guard
Glove
Batting Helmet with Facemask and Chin Strap
Bat (Bat needs to be an ASA certified Fastball bat)
Batting Bag
Cleats (recommended)
*Infield Mask
*For our 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U divisions, an infield mask is required for the 3rd base and pitcher positions and recommended for all other infield positions. For more information on equipment, click here.
