I know many people including myself that have smoked weed for a long period of time. I know that quitting marijuana is a difficult decision to make and a dramatic change in one life. I decided to stop smoking weed and it is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. I like many other people out there was addicted to pot but did not realize it. Smoking weed gives you a high that I craved almost immediately after quitting. I had to adjust to the change that quitting brings and the cravings that followed. Although I was committed fully it did not make the process any easier. What I realized was that if I was serious about changing my life I had to be committed and willing to face all of the challenges that dropping my habit would throw at me.

After quitting pot I knew that if I did not throw out everything related to marijuana I would not succeed in quitting. I threw out all my pipes, apple pipes, papers, bongs and everything else that would tempt me back to my old ways. If you are serious about changing your life you will have to do the same thing and use all the will-power that you can find in yourself. Quitting is not easy and it will take loans of work to stay clean.
